This modern and airy family home is situated in a new building for a family with two children returned back home from NYC.
In order to create a boho, cosmopolitan style, we mixed up their own, extravagant furniture brought from the US with vintage and retro furniture, lamps and accessories. To complete the style we added minimalistic elements to let the unique pieces make the main role on stage.
The building is situated on the hillside of the city, so the apartment has an extraordinary view that the owners are enjoying sitting in the terrace or even from the living room as with a sliding door the living area can be opened to the terrace.
We squeesed a tiny sauna in the back terrace for the daily comfort for the cold winter days.
The master bathroom was a dark, close room originally on the plans. In order to make it full of light, we designed a glass wall to divide the bedroom from the bathroom.
The rainbow colours mosaic of the shower is riching up the blue-gold colour scheme of the room.
We placed a small home-office area into the bedroom as there was a high need for is from the owners.
On the way to the bathroom there is a walking closet to hide all the clothes.
In the L-shaped apartment the children’s wing is separated from the parents’ area.
The children’s rooms and their bathroom is more colourful and playful and has a certain character given by the art and vintage pieces, family memories.
To find place and design a utility room was a definite request from the owners as it’s a very busy and useful area of the everyday life.
